Design
Plus is an architecture, interior design, and space
planning firm with MWBE Certification. Principal
Christina A. Johnson, AIA, FIIDA, CSI, founded Design
Plus in 1984 and has practiced throughout
Washington
State for over thirty-five years. After practicing
in the Pioneer Square and Beltowne communities of
Seattle, Design Plus moved to the current location near
the Downtown Bellevue Business District.
Design Plus work is
primarily focused on the renovation and remodel of
health care, commercial, educational, and institutional
facilities. We provide multiple-discipline services
including programming, space planning, architecture,
interior design, feasibility studies, facilities
management consulting, building audits, ADA
compliance audits, agency permitting, cost estimates,
schedules, bidding, and contract administration.
Design Plus has specialized experience and interest in
the renovation and upgrade of existing facilities within
restricted budgets and tight project schedules. We are
a firm with a reputation for design excellence, good
cost control, excellent communications, and project
management. We value the continuous working
relationships we have established with our Clients. Our
projects have included private, public, and governmental
Clients.
Design
Plus works with Clients to determine program needs,
identifies needed resources, monitors the schedule and
budget for compliance, and makes sure Quality Assurance
Procedures are accomplished to complete successful
projects.
